Timely Topics: Spinning Resources at the Public Library

Did you know the Knox County Public Library system has a great collection of books on hand spinning, some of which were donated by the Guild?

If you’re looking for inspiration or techniques between meetings do give the library’s collection a look.  There’s a fairly wide range of contemporary and classic books from beginner-level like Start Spinning by Maggie Casey to advanced technique books like Sarah Anderson’s The Spinner’s Book of Yarn Designs.  (Both of these books are also in our Guild library.)

Even if you aren’t local to Knoxville check with your local library system about interlibrary loan opportunities.   You may be surprised at what resources you can find in your local public library to further your spinning journey!
